Today's monster scratchbuild...

...comes from the website of Mike Stacey in England.

From his website...

" This steam engine was built by my father, Mr. Geoffrey Stacey.
It took several years of Saturday afternoons to complete
And was first run on compressed air on the first of July 1994
First run on steam was on the sixth of June 1997.
The steam engine was constructed from scrap brass
Virtually all the brass was cut from a gear box cover
And the girders where made from a old brass letter box lid."
