JMC/Con-Cor N scale N&W 2-8-8-2 Y6b circa 1977...

...still runs great after almost 35 years. The mechanisms were built by Rivarossi for Con-Cor...a solid, reliable crawler for old school N scale steam. My example has been hand decaled and had its roof and firebox brush painted in its past but is in otherwise very good condition. It was found at a swap meet in a dusty tray of long forgotten N scale rolling stock for next to nothing.

Hi Bob

My name is Mel Perry and I'm a lifetime model railroader. I have a early N gauge 2-8-8-2 also and it wont run. Do you know how to open it up to get to the motor? I'm afraid of breaking something. I've loosened all the screws that are easy to get to but nothing gets me there. I have an HO scale Blog too.
