Good Day Bob,

This restoration holds a message that will be probably be missed or ignored by most of those who view it. Tony Lucio was commissioned because of his sensitivity which by far exceeds his considerable talent. Even though Tony is only 31 years old he was given carte blanche and the result has made a family heirloom out of a common toy.

Tony named each car of the consist for a member of the owners family: i.e. George, the father; Patricia, the mother; Carl and Tom, the sons with the fifth car being named New Hope for the Pennsylvania town close by the families home where in the 1960’s and 70’s George, the father along with his father, brother, sister and brother-in-law labored long and hard on the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad.

This subtle display of strongly felt family values is indicative of Tony Lucio’s personal qualities and has done much to restore this writer’s faith in mankind!

Blessed be the ways of the Lord!
