When I was growing up as a kid, one of these circled the Christmas tree. The thing that stood out was the turned brass fittings, something they later replaced with plastic castings. Even the flag holders on the pilot are able to hold .015" wire staffs, something I'll put on when I can find flags. This one was a recent gift from a friend, who knew I had been wanting to find one of these for awhile.
