This one I rebuilt from---you got it---more bits found in the barn loft lot. It combines drive bits salvaged from an earlier release found in the same lot. This one featured the notorious cracking plastic axles common to '80s era Bachmann. The earlier release had steel axles sharing a gear box that dropped in place of the newer, less desirable drive parts. A detail to note is that the number boards are painted over with a black background to represent how they would look in real life, a detail not often done 'til recently even on upper end models.
