That's a magnificent diorama...Even if not has some very detailed accesories, as those of today... And that rail station is awesome, even if it is placed in an unusual way, in that curve...
On the other hand, here I am, back on your very pleasant blog, Sir. The election madness is over in my poor country, so... back to daily business everyone. (By the way, the result was some like 50,30% against 49,7%...the votes of diaspora decided!)

It is a fascinating setup...I figure that it is made up of Ives trains---they simply added motors to their toys where wind-up clockwork mechanisms used to be.

Glad you made it through the elections, .3% would have triggered recounts over here.
