There's a common saying from our elders that actually quotes this verse: "God never puts on you more than you can bear". On the other hand, I think that you can bear a 100 tons rock that God puts on your back, but cannot bear a 1 kilo wooden stick from the devil... not without faith. The flood of suicides of our days,in example, is a prove, unfortunately. And if we may understand the suicide of somebody with a disease with no cure, I am amazed to read that some people commit suicide after seeing a movie like "Avatar"... :(
Sad isn't it...my wife and I lost a close friend from Bible college to suicide---for an argument about $3.
